All of our call progress features are provided free of charge with a Soho66 VoIP number.
Caller ID
Caller ID relays the telephone number of the calling party to your handset, ensuring that you know who is calling before the call is connected.
Call transfer
Using a suitable VoIP phone, you can transfer calls from your handset to another Soho66 extension or external number.
Call transfer can be either a blind or attended transfer.
Attended transfer allows you to consult with the party to whom you wish to transfer the call before doing so. Blind transfer means to simply transfer the call on before talking with the party to whom you are transferring the call

Music on hold
Using a suitable VoIP phone, you can place your caller on hold during a call, when you do so, our switch will play music on hold to the caller.
3 way calling
Three way calling allows you to create an ad-hoc conference call between yourself and another two parties.

Line display name
Our line display name feature sets the default display name for your inbound call to any text you choose.
This text shows on your VoIP phone when the call rings.
This feature is useful if you have multiple numbers and want to be able to easily identify which number your caller has dialled

Whisper
The whisper service allows you to define a recording to be played to the receiving party each time a call is connected - meaning you'll always know where a call comes from even if you call forward.
Whisper is essentially an audio version of our line display name feature. In some situations, it may not be possible to see the line that the call has come in on. This happens with calls that are forwarded to a mobile or landline, or picked up on an VoIP phone or adapter without any display.
With the whisper option, when you pick up a call, we play a brief recording, as defined by you, which identifies the line that the call is coming in on.
Whisper is perfect for mobile users, virtual assistant agencies or even call centres where the correct introduction is required consistently.

With a Soho66 number, you can receive as many consecutive calls as you want.
You can connect a multi line VoIP phone and have as many calls connected as you want, with the ability to toggle between calls or transfer them on.
