Our unified numbers user the latest in detection technology to automatically detect and route voice, SMS and fax calls seamlessly.
- SMS text messages are detected at the telephone network level, intercepted and sent to your designated email address
- When a fax or voice call comes in to us we:
- Answer the call
- Give ring back to the caller, so the caller hears ringing
- Our system then 'listens' for fax tone (which will get sent by any connecting machine) for 5 seconds
- When we detect a fax we route the call to our fax to email platform, which accepts the fax for you, renders it to an Adobe pdf document and sends it to your designated email address
- If, after 5 seconds, we haven't detected a fax call we route the call as a voice call, as specified by you in your routing wizard
