How to manage your call routing and access voicemails from anywhere

Our customers tell us a lot just how great they think it is that they can manage and configure their entire phone system in a web browser.

Specific praise is heaped on the ability to dip in and out of the online control panel to retrieve, listen and download voicemails, in addition to configuring call routing plans.

What’s more, as it’s web based it means this can all be done from any location in the world with access to the internet – and here’s how.

Accessing, listening and downloading your voicemails

1. Log in to your account and open the voicemail facility

Log in to your Soho66 account to open the user Control Panel and locate the ‘Voicemail online’ panel on the left-hand side and click to open.

2. Select your mailbox

Here you must click the ‘Select mailbox’ drop-down menu and click the extension for which mailbox messages you wish to retrieve.

3. Listen in your browser, download or organise

After selecting your desired mailbox you will be able to listen to the voicemail in your browser, download a copy locally, mark as listened/unlistened or delete.

Changing your number routing

1. Log in to your account and locate your number

Log in to your Soho66 account and click the ‘Your Numbers’ panel to open the numbers on your account, then click on the number for which you want to change routing settings on.

2. Open number configuration settings and find Routing Wizard

After clicking the number you will be presented with the ‘Edit/Add Number’ screen. Here, scroll down the page until you find ‘Call Routing’ and click the ‘Routing Wizard’ button.

3. Use the Routing Wizard to define your routing steps

Choose to route calls for your number exactly as you wish, such as forward to a VoIP phone, divert to one or more internal/external destinations (such as a mobile), send to voicemail and many more.

Configuring out of hours routing

1. Log in to your account and open Out of Hours Routing (OoHR)

Log in to your Soho66 account and click the ‘Out of Hours Routing’ panel to change how you want your numbers to route outside your normal business hours.

2. Check your routing plan and set your hours

Your current routing plan will be shown at the top, which you can edit by clicking the ‘Routing Wizard’ button. When you’re happy, scroll down to input your opening and closing hours.

3. Apply your OoHR to your number(s)

At the bottom of the OoHR facility you’ll be able to select which number(s) you wish to apply your OoHR plan to, so if you have more than one number you can apply it to those too.
