Following a fire this morning in a BT North Paddington exchange, there is widespread intermittent faults in number routing. This is currently under investigation through British Telecom.
Soho66 numbers are not affected by this fire in the North Paddington exchange but, any calls from networks which route through this exchange will intermittently experience a network congestion (busy) tone. British Telecom are in the process of re-routing calls through alternative exchanges and will assess the damage to the Paddington exchange when the building has been declared safe to do so.
BT have not placed any information on their own website regarding this but, more information can be found at the following links:

As more information is made available, we will update this page.
Update 10:27 April 1st:
BT are still unable to gain access to their exchange, but some traffic has already been re-routed. Customers will continue to experience engaged or unobtainable tone as these routes are at capacity.
Please note that this problem is also affecting O2 and Vodafone customers and may be affecting other mobile operators and landline operators.

Update April 2nd - From BT Openreach support website
Major flooding in North Paddington exchange, on Wednesday 31st March 2010 affected a large number of customers in parts of North and West London.
Customers in North and West London have been affected and may have experienced a loss of broadband and/or telephony service. Customers in other parts of the country may also have been affected.
The flooding impacted broadband and PSTN circuits and some mobile services were also affected.
The water has been pumped from the exchange, power has been restored to the building and our engineers have been working hard to restore services to customers.
The vast majority of services have now been restored although there are still a number of PSTN lines that are affected as the recovery continues.
As this is a serious and complex incident we cannot accurately predict when all services will be fully restored.
We will issue further updates as the situation changes.
Update April 6th - From BT Openreach support website
Following serious flooding in the North Paddington exchange, resulting in the serious failure of our network equipment and the loss of service to a large number of end users in parts of North and West London, Openreach declared a matter beyond our reasonable control (MBORC) event effective from 13.00 on Wednesday 31st March 2010.
Due to the severity of the flooding and the damage caused, this has been a major recovery operation, but we are pleased to confirm that our engineers have successfully restored all services to customers and that fault levels have returned to normal.
We are therefore able to lift the MBORC, with effect from 12.00 on Tuesday 6th April 2010.
