Unable to receive faxes or notifications (123-reg managed mailbox) Options

Good morning Soho66 customers

Just to make you aware, we've had a couple of enquiries from people whos mailboxes are managed by 123-reg to say that they're not receiving our fax notifications and / or faxes themselves. This seems to be as 123-reg are detecting our messages as SPAM, and refusing to accept delivery from our mail servers.

Even though we use the Sender Policy Framework (SPF) and, have valid SPF records, 123-reg still manage to prevent delivery. Thankfully, there is a solution though. Simply follow the steps below:
  • Log into the 123-reg control panel
  • Scroll down to Manage email on left
  • Select your domain, and click Manage
  • Select your e-mail address from list of email addresses and click Edit
  • Scroll down to 'Spam Filtering' and click Edit
  • Change 'Spam Delete Level' to 9
  • Change 'Spam Flag Level' to 10
  • Save your changes.

    After this, your faxes & notifications will come through as normal
